Spring Fashion Week 2015 Trends
Makeup and Hair styles in Fashion
Orange and blue makeup was popular this spring. The key to this trend is to keep everything else simple and use the color of choosing minimally.
Exploring other materials as makeup was successful on the runway.
As seen in above picture – baby blue colored strip of leather used as eyeliner.
Graphic liner – above or below the eye? It does not matter where just make it simple and it becomes a statement.
Nail art was put at the forefront. All kinds of colors painted in different shapes were encouraged. And if possible glue some embellishments on top of the nails. Besides fantastical nail art the ‘winged’ look showed its face too. A one upmanship on the flicked eyeliner – think Amy winehouse. The purpose is to elongate the eyes.
Embellishment was not only explored on the nails but also in the makeup on the face. Either use a bit of glitter or create some shapes as seen above with Kendall Kardashian.
Dolce and Gabbana decided to continue their classic look of a simple bun hairdo with flowers in it and strong cherry lips.
The ‘no’ makeup look never goes out of fashion. This is important for even though makeup is great to play with one should never forget how beautiful we can be just as we are.
Hair – Wigs were used a lot in this year’s fashion week as in Marc Jacobs fashion show.
Ponytails, ponytail, ponytails – Every type of ponytail style was rockin’ it this Spring 2015
The wet hair and low ponytail. Simple but effective.
The ponytail with a twist – Crimped sections of hair. Finally those crimping tools are back in action.
The casual knotted ponytail or the hard gelled double up ponytail
Casual and messy ponytail vs straight and sleek ponytail with hair accesories.
With all the ponytail action going on the catwalks it was easy to forget the designers who choose to either go for casually straight and down while others went for gorgeous platts.
